Primary Teacher - Sunderland

Milk Education are seeking a child-centred and inspirational Primary Teacher to join a forward thinking and conscientious primary school in Sunderland. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching within LKS2 and will contribute fully in raising standards through their teaching and personal contributions.

Primary Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies to enhance students’ understanding and enjoyment of learning
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.

Primary Teacher Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in LKS2
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
