Primary Teacher

Primary Teachers are required for  day to day supply and long term supply for several Primary schools in the Sunderland area which we are working with as a company. You will deliver your lessons to Primary pupils selecting from your preference of short to medium term, or long term supply opportunities. As these schools have selected to partner with us as a company, you can expect to be regularly booked and to be invited to CPD, get to know staff and pupils and feel part of the staff and valued.

The ideal Primary Teacher candidate would:

• Have good classroom management skills
• Have experience of teaching different phonics schemes such as Read Write Inc, Sounds Write, Little Wandle, Jolly Phonics, Letters and Sounds
• Have a passion for Primary teaching
• Have excellent subject knowledge
• Be able to organise themselves
• Be able to plan effective, engaging Primary lessons.

We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers or ECTs.

To apply for a Primary teaching position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS.

In addition, you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
