Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services required for the company’s operations.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure they are approved and processed correctly.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders and deliveries.
- Support the procurement team in developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
- Assist in preparing reports and analysing data related to procurement activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in facilities management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
