We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our team for an exciting civils project in Sunderland. This project involves the construction of a new substation and is just starting on site, offering a fantastic opportunity to be involved from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting cost analysis and financial planning
- Preparing and reviewing contract documentation
- Managing project budgets and ensuring cost control
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and clients
- Preparing reports and documentation for project progress
- Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civils projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant degree and professional qualifications preferred
