We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

Based out of our Sunderland office, with the potential for Hybrid working, covering a region of Blyth down to Hull.

This role slots into our temporary and trades business, someone who has experience in selling contract and temporary labour into local markets. Trades and technicians would be ideal but open to other sectors.  Our division currently supports the engineering, manufacturing and energy sectors which includes fast paced and high volume customers across oil and gas, renewable energy, hydrogen, CCS and power.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs.
  • Source, attract, and screen potential candidates through job portals, social media, and networking.
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Provide guidance to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage job advertisements, applications, and database records.
  • Negotiate contracts and salary expectations between clients and candidates.
  • Meet and exceed recruitment targets and KPIs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, job market insights, and competitor activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in recruitment software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attend Expo’s and industry networking events, jobs fairs etc.

No Caps on Commission:

  • £0-£10k per month = 10%
  • £10001-£20000 per month = additional 15%
  • £20000 - £25000 per month = additional 20%
  • £25000 and above = additional 25%
