- Provide 1:1 supportthroughout the school day
- Assist with academic tasks and support learning in various subjects.
- Monitor and support the student's behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Support mental health and wellbeing, promoting emotional resilience and coping strategies.
- Communicate with the student’s teachers and other staff to ensure progress and identify any areas of concern.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment tailored to the student’s needs.
- Experience working with young people, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), behavioural challenges, or mental health needs.
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Understanding of alternative education provisions and how they support students’ learning and personal development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
