Family Paralegal

Family Paralegal/Legal Assistant-Sunderland-Competitive Salary dependant on experience 

The Firm is looking to recruit a paralegal/trainee who has worked on files, preferably with a law degree as there will be client interaction.

If not already a trainee will lead to a training contract.

The candidate will assist a fee earner with Wills/Probate, LPA’s and Family. 

Main Responsibilities:-

• Conduct legal research and gather case-related information.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Prepare discovery materials and assist with trial preparation.
• Manage case files and maintain organized documentation.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates.
• Assist attorneys in court proceedings and client meetings.
• File documents with the court and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
