Lead Full Stack Developer (JavaScript C# .Net Core AWS) Sunderland / WFH to £80k
Are you a senior, hands-on, Full Stack Developer looking for an opportunity to progress your career working on a modern tech stack and collaboratively problem solving within a supportive team environment?
You could be joining an online gaming company as they go through a period of technology investment and expansion.
As a Lead Full Stack Developer you will provide technical leadership and mentoring to a small, Agile team whilst remaining hands-on with designing and developing new features and enhancements to the core web based gaming platform as well as building and maintaining RESTful APIs for clients to consume.
There's approximately a 50/50 split between hands-on tech work and leadership; you'll be working with a C# .Net backend but you'll also work on the front end with TypeScript and Vue.js.
You'll take ownership of projects, seek continuous improvements, mentor and provide technical leadership to more junior developers in a relaxed environment that encourages knowledge sharing and close collaboration.
Location / WFH:
There's a hybrid work from home policy with three days a week in the office, you'll be based in awesome custom built offices in Sunderland with a range of facilities and perks including free meals and snacks at the onsite restaurant as well as membership at onsite gym.
About you:
- You have strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
- You also have experience with C# .Net Core backend development
- You have a good knowledge of AWS
- There's a range of other technologies in the stack, experience with any of them would be great: Node.js, Vue.js, Lambda, Docker, Terraform, TeamCity, GitHub, SQL, MySQL, Redis
- You have experience of mentoring, leading people and projects
- You have a good grounding with Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
- You're collaborative with a genuine enthusiasm for technology, keen to learn and share knowledge
- You're likely to be degree educated in a STEM discipline
