Procurement Partner

Sellick Partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Procurement Partner for an organisation based in Sunderland on a hybrid basis.

The Procurement Partner will support the overall Procurement strategy with the delivery of an effective and efficient procurement service.

Responsibilities of the Procurement Partner will include:

  • Support the Procurement Lead with all procurement across all business areas
  • Prepare and attend partnership meetings, supporting business partners
  • Provide day to day management support and supervision to the Junior Procurement Partners
  • Provide practical, responsive procurement services on tenders over £120k
  • Comply with the procurement strategy, all policies, procedures and service level agreements relating to Procurement

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have effective communication with colleagues on all levels
  • Have appropriate knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations 2015
  • Understand of the broad objectives necessary to achieve effective procurement and value for money
  • Hold CIPS level 4
