Role Profile

Penshaw View are a consultancy services and training provider, offering HR and H&S consultancy and delivering a variety of training programmes, including apprenticeships, throughout the UK.

As a result of internal progression, a new opportunity for a Business Support Administrator has arisen within our growing business.

The Business Support Administrator will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks and duties, supporting multiple areas of the business. This is a full-time permanent role, and the successful candidate will be supported to undertake the level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship internally, as part of the role.

  • Provide administrative support to all business operations, including data input and assisting with the preparation of reports using relevant information systems.
  • Ensure general filing of electronic and paper correspondence is accurate and kept up to date.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Answeringphone calls, taking messages and connectingcallsto proper departments, always representing the business professionally
  • Completion of Health and Safety Vetting forms
  • Communication with external stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage invoices
  • Produce and manage commercial course booking forms
  • Management of documentation
  • GDPR compliant data processing
  • Undertake departmental administrative projects as and when required.
  • Proactively identify and undertake appropriate CPD activities to support personal development within the role

Competencies

  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including use of Microsoft packages (excel, word, etc.)
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to manage own workload and priorities in order to meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
