Expleo are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician to support a major automotive OEM in the North East (UK)

Working within a maintenance team, you will be undertaking Tooling and Die repairs, modifications and upgrades.


The role will involve understanding specifications from engineering as to the creation or repair of existing and/or new tools within the production facility.


The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to our client and will be expected to be proactive and self-motivated in delivering the targeted outputs to support the product.


Responsibilities


* Act on requests for repair and creation of specification for tooling

* Gather data and work with process experts and the Engineering team.

* Tool Follow-up sheets (PDCA) per tool
* Follow and complete studies until final approval Pre-acceptance validation

* Tool qualification at supplier facilities

* Process maturity and validation process tuning and validation in plant


Experience and Qualifications Required


* Time served Elec-Mech Fitter or equivalent.

* Min HNC or equivalent.

* Experience of working with a mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair environment.

* Understanding of Tooling and Die's
