A global manufacturing company are looking to recruit an experienced Lead/Senior Commercial Engineer to run a small team of Commercial Engineers to develop relationships between new and existing customer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

The Job:

· Producing accurate long, short, and real time sales forecasts as well as managing budgets.

· Providing frequent updates backed by data on business activities, strategies, and department priorities to the commercial manager.

· Lead, supervise and support business improvements activities to reach goals set out in line with company growth.

· Develop and strengthen relationships with new/ existing companies.

· Maximising margins by offering to support with any relevant customer ventures.

· Closely monitoring the market to notice changes and keep up with trends.

· Assuring quotes have undergone all appropriate checks before submission for approval.

What you’ll bring to the team:

· Must have experience leading a team of Commercial Engineers

· Strong negotiation skills both face to face and remote

· Proven experience of developing relationships with internal and external contacts

· Detailed knowledge and understanding of using formulas within Excel.

Good understanding of manufacturing production and processes
