Role: Senior CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer

Location: Sunderland (Projects across the North East of England)

Salary: Up to £55,000 - £60,000 + excellent benefits package

WRG is supporting an award winning Project & Cost Management consultancy that operates across the North of England. The business has grown significantly over the last 5 years, they now boast a headcount of over 80 construction professionals, offering a range of services to their clients across the built environment.

The business is looking to appoint an experienced CDM/ PD professional to sit within their safety & compliance department and ensure that clients projects are compliant with 2015 CDM Regs and H&S legislation. They cover a diverse portfolio of projects across the North of England including; residential, education, healthcare, student accommodation, leisure, commercial, retail, local authority and master planning/ regeneration.

The role would suit an experienced CDM/ PD professional from a consultancy background who is looking for the next step in their career and would like to join a dynamic business which is going through an exciting period of growth.

Responsibilities:

Offer a range of CDM/ PD services to clients.

Oversee the design risk register and attend design risk reviews, along with offering input in relation to safety in design.

Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.

Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.

Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.

Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones.

Requirements:

NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).

Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body.

Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.

Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
