Your Role as Maintenance Technician

You'll be at the heart of operations, ensuring equipment such as shear balers, excavator scissors, machine handlers, conveyors, and more run reliably and efficiently. Imagine the satisfaction of solving problems, minimising downtime, and being the go-to expert. You'll also enjoy the variety of:

  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment to ensure operations flow smoothly.
  • Overseeing contractors to guarantee quality work.
  • Supporting maintenance planning, from shutdowns to emergency repairs.
  • Contributing to health, safety, and environmental initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Expertise in Maintenance: You'll have honed your skills in heavy industry and have a deep understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Qualifications that Count: NVQ Level 3 or higher.
  • Welding Experience: Bring your fabrication and welding skills to the table.
  • Flexibility to Travel: You'll visit Rotherham around 20% of the time.
