Join our client's dynamic engineering team as a Maintenance Technician working a shift pattern, where your expertise will contribute to world-class engineering excellence. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of fault resolution and maintenance, promoting quality, health and safety, and optimal manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver top-tier engineering solutions, focusing on operational effectiveness and reliability.
- Collaborate with production teams to enhance business results and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement and manage mechanical and electrical strategies while adhering to budgets.
- Identify training needs and promote adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering HNC/HND or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of multiskilled engineering experience.
- Strong background in PLC maintenance, MMI, and SCADA systems.
- Excellent communication and IT skills (Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of Lean/TPM manufacturing methods is advantageous.
Desired Qualifications:
- 18th Edition Electrical Regulation certification or higher.
- Parmley Graham or equivalent PLC fault-finding qualifications.
- City and Guilds 2391 electrical testing and inspection.
