Are you an ambitious and motivated Medical Copywriter looking to make a significant impact in the healthcare communications industry? We are seeking a talented individual to join our client, an independent creative, digital, and design advertising agency based in Sunderland.Role and responsibilities;As a Medical Copywriter, you will be part of a dynamic team that offers the perfect balance of autonomy and the opportunity to work on internationally significant projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Copywriting Excellence: Researching, originating, and editing high-quality copy across various clients and delivering to multiple agreed deadlines.
  • Deep Understanding: Developing a thorough understanding of client data, products, and therapy areas to convert and adapt information into key messages and insightful, accurate copy for diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals and consumers.
  • Creative Content Development: Crafting creative and technical content across a wide range of materials, such as adverts, e-detailers, detail aids, brochures, conference materials, direct mail, emailers, websites, apps, and training materials.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and service to encourage client retention.
Sills and experience:
  • Educational Background: Degree in a medical or life sciences discipline.
  • Relevant Experience: At least two years of writing experience in a healthcare agency, pharmaceutical company, or similar setting.
  • Research Skills: Ability to write confidently and accurately from original research papers and adapt scientific-led content for UK audiences.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and accurately estimate time requirements.
  • Team Spirit: A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a growing team.
  • Integration Skills: Ability to blend scientific and technical understanding with commercial objectives.
  • Communication Proficiency: High standard of oral and written English and excellent communication skills.
  • Technical Literacy: Proficiency with main MS Office software.
