Michael Page Logistics are supporting our client with the recruitment of a site manager for a Material Recovery Facility.
Client Details
Our client provide skip hire, demolition & waste removal services throughout the South East Of England. The role will be based at the prestigious facility in the Maidenhead & Windsor area.
Description
You will have the following responsibilities:
* Responsible for safe and efficient running of waste management and recycling within the waste transfer station.
* Controlling production input and output, ensuring processes run smoothly and managing expectations
* On site Health & safety monitoring and ensuing compliance with legislation.
* Controlling budgets and attending meetings
* Direct interface with clients to assist with the resolution of customer concerns.
* Work to improve site layout and operations.
* Sampling/analysis of waste where required.
* Write and implement operational policies to provide continuous improvement.
* Management and development of MRF various staff
* Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
Profile
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
* Strong commercial understanding of waste recycling.
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
* Self-motivated as well as a good motivator
* Confident and effective people management skills.
* Be open to and encourage change.
* Be proactive and constructive in problem solving and conflict management.
* Be approachable and professional.
