Our client is looking for an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their well-established independent Consultancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across various sectors with projects in government ministries, local councils, hospitals, schools and many more.

Principal Acoustic Consultant Requirements:

  • Degree in Acoustics and Noise Control or similar
  • Relevant experience in Environmental or Building Acoustics
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Acoustic Products
  • Sound Insulation Tester
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Knowledge of mechanical services engineering and noise control
  • Full Member of IOA

Principal Acoustic Consultant Duties:

  • Planning and undertaking noise measurement surveys
  • Sound insulation testing
  • 3D noise modelling
  • Completing technical reports
  • Undertaking data analysis
  • Travel to sites
  • Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
