This is a great opportunity to work on one of the biggest substation builds in the UK. My client is a design consultancy who have taking on the civil packages of this £300mill + power project. They will be working on earthworks, bridges and supergrid transformers as well as the civil packages of the substation itself.

My client is looking for a Design Manager who can work with the main contractor and help with client relationships. Other duties will involve: documentation schedules/ filing, attend weekly meetings, look after program  and raise early warnings.

In an ideal world the candidate will come from a designer background and would of worked for a main contractor in the past as will be able to understand the clients mentality.
Â
Anyone that has worked on National Grid projects and also had interface with Network Rail would be highly sought after.

This role will be hybrid with 3 days office (South West London) with one of this days being on site (Heathrow) the other 2 can be home working.
