An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursery Manager with 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education in the UK to join an independent day nursery, offering excellent benefits.

As a Nursery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the early years setting, ensuring high standards of care and education for children aged 0-5 years.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing daily operations to ensure smooth running of the nursery.
  • Mentoring and developing a team of early years practitioners to achieve their full potential.
  • Managing recruitment, staff training, and ongoing professional development.
  • Promoting the nursery, handling enquiries, and ensuring positive communication with parents.
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop strategic plans for enrolment and staffing.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education in the UK, with 3 years in nursery management.
  • Background in a leadership role within an early year setting.
  • A Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • A good understanding of relevant health and safety legislation.
  • A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
