Technical Compliance Coordinator Role Overview:

Working closely alongside a highly successful Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the compliance for the Technical department, ensuring Quality documentation, investigations and audits are all completed in a timely manner and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Technical Compliance Coordinator:

  • Maintain and update the QMS to meet compliance standards.
  • Prepare and review food safety documentation.
  • Assist with internal and external BRC audits.
  • Handle customer complaints, investigate root causes, and analyse trends.
  • Ensure product labels comply with specifications and regulations.
  • Review and adjust risk assessments as needed.
  • Deliver technical training to junior team members.
  • Maintain lab standards, including equipment and hygiene.
  • Monitor and manage the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP).
  • Lead recall investigations and ensure traceability.
  • Perform regular food safety compliance checks.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a similar role, within a food manufacturing environment
  • A degree or equivalent in a Food Science or related discipline
  • Knowledge of food legislation, labelling, nutritional and allergen information
  • A strong communicator with customer facing experience
