Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Surbiton, South West London
Salary: 35,000 to 40,000 + package
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a busy and growing multi-discipline building consultancy based in Surbiton, South West London. This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a diverse range of projects across the residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors alongside a friendly and professional team.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be supporting senior team members in delivering a range of projects across London, Sussex and Surrey of varying complexities and size. Your key responsibilities will include:

Assisting in preparing cost estimates, tender documentation, and contract administration.
Supporting the preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Conducting site visits and measurements to ensure accurate reporting.
Assisting in the preparation of feasibility studies and budget costings.
Developing strong client relationships by delivering a high-quality service.
Working closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors throughout each phase of the project

The ideal candidate will be eager, keen to learn and enthusiastic about the construction industry. You'll also require:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Experience within a consultancy or main contracting environment
Strong numerical, analytical and organisation skills
Excellent communication skills
Working towards, or hold an interest in pursuing RICS accreditation
