Day Security Administrator:Location: Surbiton- Kingston University Salary: up to £11.44Temp to Permanent4 on 4 off - 7am to 7pm - 12-hour shiftsOur client, a leading facilities management company are currently looking for Day Security Administrator

Need to have admin experience they will put you forward to get a SIA badge if you dont already have one later down the line. Duties:

  • Assist the occupants of site
  • Postage duties
  • Responding to queries by email
  • Logging maintenance requests
  • Carrying out reception duties
  • Managing key holding service
  • Checking access passes
  • Providing assistance with incidents
  • Liaising with emergency services as and when required

This role is 70% admin based with the next 30% security based

  • Keeping the staff, students and members of public safe.
  • Assist if needed if mobile day security is not available to Securing buildings with regular patrols Seething wells halls of residence sites and CCTV monitoring.
  • Ensuring the security of vehicles entering and exiting site(s).
  • Checking personnel passes.
  • Assisting with any conflict situations that occur within the premises.
  • Report any dangerous situations, maintenance issues and faulty equipment
  • Must be willing with training provided to work with technology including PC, incident reporting software, Body Worn CCTV, radios and patrol recoding equipment.
  • The candidate maybe be required to go between sites and blocks and therefore must expect a high level of standing and walking.
  • The role is working shift patterns (4 days on - 4 days off) Day Shift (7am - 7pm).
  • Ability to work alone at times unsupervised with lone working processes in place.
  • Writing security incident reports /handovers
  • Use of computers- for training online, use of word and emails

Qualifications/ Required Experience: The candidate with a valid SIA Security Guard/Door Supervisors license with Public Space CCTV licence highly desirable.Desirable First aid at work It is preferable that the candidate have security Experience Office experience and administrative computer experience is essential Must be smart in appearance as will be in a front-line role.Full Driving Licence desirable but not essential Microsoft Office Components Skills - must be able to use emails, internet, word.For this role, you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK.
