Are you a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with experience supporting pupils who require additional support within the classroom?Horizon Teachers are working with a mainstream Primary School and Nursery based in Kingston, supporting in their search for an experienced and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join their team from March. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work within a Primary or Nursery class, assisting children throughout their school day, in and out of the classroom. The school would like to appoint someone who has a proactive, positive approach and is open to float across a range of year groups. What do the school require from you?

Experience working in a Nursery, Primary or Secondary school.
A willingness to learn about SEND and support children on a 1:1 basis when necessary.
Confidence in your ability to remain calm under pressure and use your initiative.
Show patience, empathy, and a proactive mindset to any situation.
Have knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
