Procurement Services Manager/ Consultant - IMMEDIATE VACANCY!
Salary: Up to £66, 000 per annum,
Full time permanent role (hybrid working pattern)

We are currently recruiting for an accomplished and highly experienced MCIPS or CIPS qualified Procurement Services Consultant on behalf of our client a well-known, exciting FMCG global brand. This role is a hybrid role based at the company’s new "state of the art "Head Office based in the Surbiton area. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background within tender and contract management and possess superb negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- To engage with different departments in the business analysing and highlighting the needs of each department and conducting market research
- Onboarding new procurement categories
- Demonstrate innovative thinking and proactivity where looking at new services implementation or strategic solutions
- Managing the tender process from market research, to creating tender packs, completing scorecards and presenting final recommendations
- Conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, including negotiations, supplier and industry analysis, benchmarks, cost structure analysis ensuring process compliance
- Supplier negotiation and drafting contracts
- Contract management
- Stakeholder management
- Multi-tasking and juggling a varied workload within a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality of work and attention to detail
- Preparing summaries, overviews and project status documents for senior managementBudget tracking and control
- Managing and maintaining supplier relationships for internal procurement for the organisation for products and services within the process procurement department
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- MCIPS qualification (Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement Supply) or CIPS Level 4 as a minimum requirement
- A solid background within procurement with excellent and understanding and knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
- Experience working with suppliers, contract management and tendering
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Effective negotiator and confident communicator and presenter (able to present and propose projects/ideas to Board level employees)
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to prioritise projects and communicate effectively accordingly
- The ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently within tight deadlines
- Ability to deal with a large amount data (numeric and/or literal) and being able to extract key information
- Live within a commutable distance from Surbiton
