SF Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Sutton Coldfield based distribution business who are looking for a Financial Controller on a permanent basis.
This is a very strong business which is part of a larger group and you'll be joining the business at a good time as they continue to implement growth strategies.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will have gained solid Financial Controller experience in a distribution or multi-site business which operates at a fast pace with lots of different demands.
You will be responsible for running the finance team, helping develop these colleagues who are at various stages in their career.
You will also be responsible for the following amongst other things:
Adherence to group reporting timetables
Budgeting and forecasting
Process and system improvement
Supervision of purchase and sales ledger
Maintaining optimal cashflow
Preparation of VAT returns
Supporting the external audit process
You will have excellent communication skills and will be happy liaising with colleagues at all levels.
To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and will be looking for a role in an exciting business where you'll be working with some really strong colleagues.
