We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of the daily finances.This is an exciting opportunity to join a business committed to excellence, with a positive work environment. Salary on offer £27,000 - £33,000 per annum DOE.

Key responsibilities:

Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Processing invoices and payments.
Bank reconciliations.
Maintaining accurate financial records.
Assisting with year-end accounts and audits.
Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Key requirements:

AAT qualified or part-qualified.
2 + years work experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
