7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

Our client is committed to excellence in service delivery and pride themselves on efficiency, professionalism, and care in handling their clients’ products and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are seeking a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our client’s team to cover the Midlands area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering items to our clients valued customers, ensuring that products are handled with care and delivered promptly.

This role requires attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to customer service excellence.

Hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility to work after 4.30 if required. NO WEEKENDS.

£32,600 OTE

Key Responsibilities for the 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver:

• Delivering items to customers in the Midlands area, maintaining a high level of care for both the product and customers’ premises.
• Safely loading and unloading items, including lifting, when necessary, to ensure their safe delivery.
• Vehicle Safety – carrying out daily walk around checks and reporting any necessary issues to line manager before leaving the distribution centre each day
• Conducting thorough checks to ensure all parts of the delivery are accounted for and delivered accurately.
• Interacting with customers in a polite and professional manner, representing the company’s values at all times.
• Completing delivery sheets and obtaining customer signatures as required.
• Adhering to the designated working hours and maintaining flexibility as needed to meet customer demands.

Requirements for the 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver:

• Clean, valid drivers license with appropriate category for operation a 7.5 Tonne vehicle.
• Must hold a current Tachograph Card and Drivers CPC Card
• Over 25 years of age due to company insurance requirements.
• Previous experience in delivery driving.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting items when necessary.
