Technical Sales Team LeaderSutton Coldfield - onsite Mon-Fri£35,000 - £45,000 p/a base salary (OTE up to £60,000 p/a)Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a long-standing, reputable organisation in the Sutton Coldfield area of Birmingham. They are a specialist civil engineering product supplier and are looking for a Technical Sales Team Leader to provide an example and technical expertise for a developing sales team.Duties and responsibilities of the Technical Sales Team Leader role include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy aligned with business goals, market trends, and client needs.
  • Lead by example, consistently delivering outstanding sales results and setting the standard for performance within the team. You will be responsible for hitting your own personal sales target as well as ensuring the team meets their own.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Inspire, mentor, and drive the sales team to achieve and exceed targets, fostering a culture of ambition, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the team delivers outstanding customer service at all times.

The successful candidate MUST have:

  • Hands-on experience and technical knowledge of civil engineering and groundworks industry.
  • Senior sales experience (min. 5 years).
  • Experience leading a small team.
  • Happy full time in the office, 5 days a week onsite (40 hour week).
  • A strong personality who is able to communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders.
