  • Will be involved in the Manufacture of Plastic Injection Mould tools but also jigs, fixtures and gauges
  • Carry out proactive maintenance and up keep on milling machines
  • Setting of work, cutters and programming CNC Machines efficiently and effectively to produce finished work that is checked by yourself
  • Follow engineering drawings in line with timing plans
  • Investigate issues to find root causes passing information back to the design department and management so issues can be avoided in the future
Key skills/knowledge as a CNC Miller:
  • Engineering drawing interpretation ability.
  • 3-5 years CNC Milling setting, operating and Programming
  • Be able to work to tight tolerances
  • Must be able to check your own work
  • IOSH, 5S and Six Sigma training is a desirable
