The Role:
As a CNC Setter Operator, you will:
- Set and operate CNC Milling, Turning, or other production machines.
- Produce accurate, high-quality components to drawing tolerance and specifications.
- Plan and specify tooling requirements, including jigs and fixtures.
- Make tool changes, amendments, and minor program changes.
- Inspect your own components, including first offs and in cycle.
- Maintain a neat and tidy working area, adhering to 5S and general housekeeping standards.
- Report faults to the Coordinator or Engineers promptly.
- Adhere to production schedules as instructed.
The Candidate:
To be successful as a CNC Setter Operator, you should have:
- 2+ years of experience working in a factory, specifically with VMC/VMG machinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and close attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, professional, and "can do" attitude.
- Previous use of Fanuc.
