Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team in Sutton Coldfield. This role involves setting and operating power presses and other manufacturing machines to produce high-quality components.

The Role:
As a Press Setter / Operator, you will:
- Set and operate power presses and other related production machines
- Use specified tooling requirements, including jigs and fixtures, to perform tool changes safely
- Produce accurate, high-quality components to drawing specifications
- Collaborate with the Coordinator and Engineers to optimise machine efficiency
- Train and support other setters/operatives
- Inspect your own components, including first offs and in-cycle checks
- Maintain a tidy working area and adhere to 5S and general housekeeping standards
The Candidate:
The ideal Press Setter / Operator will have:
- 2+ years experience in a factory, specifically with power presses ranging from 20t to 250t+
- Experience with various forms of measuring equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and close attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, professional, and can do attitude
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
