Electroplating Operative Fantastic salary and benefits!North Birmingham locationAn exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer is looking for an experienced electroplating operative to join the business on a permanent basis. Paying an attractive salary plus shift allowance working rotating shifts with an early finish each Friday! Your duties will include;• Produce accurate, high-quality work efficiently.• Responsible for quality checks using an X-ray machine.• Operating and programming furnaces, ensuring schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.• Loading and unloading furnaces (FLT Counterbalance required).• Responsible for Pero Washing and Tin Plating processes.• Responsible for measuring scrap levels.• Adhere to schedules as instructed and agreed with the coordinator.• Follow 5S principles: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain.• Maintain a neat and tidy working area and general housekeeping to support Health and Safety procedures.• Take a responsible approach to Health, Safety, and Environmental risks, controlling or reporting them appropriately.• Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety requirements, including wearing personal protective equipment (work boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, overalls, etc.).Professional Skills:• 1+ years of experience working in a factory, specifically in electroplating and Auto & Semi Auto Machinery.• Experience using various forms of measuring equipment.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Interested to know more?
