The Role:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting classroom teachers, helping deliver engaging lessons, and working closely with pupils-either one-on-one or in small groups. You'll assist with lesson planning, classroom management, and support students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to cater to their specific learning needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the learning and development of pupils with varying abilities and ages.
  • Helping teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons.
  • Providing one-on-one or group support to pupils, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Promoting and maintaining positive behaviour in accordance with school policies.
  • Assisting with assessment and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

About You:

We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic individual who has:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in primary or secondary school settings.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN and/or behavioural needs (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for helping children succeed.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
