Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Primary School in Birmingham, starting January 2025.

Job Requirements for this Level 2 Teaching Assistant role:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN needs (ASD, PMLD, SLD)
  • A proactive and patient approach to learning support
  • Availability to start full-time work in January 2025

This role involves supporting children in a primary SEN setting with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). You will play an essential role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment to help students thrive.
