Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a well-respected primary school in North Birmingham, which is seeking a dedicated and experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team in January 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive learning environment and support students in achieving their best. This full time role is due to start in Jan 2025 and will continue to February Half Term at least. Role Overview: Work closely with the class teacher to support learning in KS2. Assist with lesson delivery, small group work, and one-to-one support. Use strong behaviour management skills to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Help with classroom activities and support students' social and emotional development. Provide general classroom assistance and maintain a safe, inclusive learning space. Requirements: Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a KS2 setting. Strong behaviour management skills and ability to handle classroom challenges effectively. Enthusiastic and proactive approach to supporting learning. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA qualification) is essential.
