Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of c.500 private clients, ensuring all compliance and advisory needs are met
  • Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to HMRC regulations
  • Advising on a range of tax planning issues, including residence, CGT, and other personal tax matters
  • Providing proactive and tailored tax advice to clients, ensuring the best possible tax outcomes
  • Supervising and mentoring one direct report, supporting their professional development
  • Managing tax compliance workflows, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently
  • Liaising with HMRC, clients, and internal teams, maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Keeping up to date with legislation changes and advising clients accordingly

Candidate Requirements
  • ATT or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Extensive experience in personal tax compliance, with exposure to advisory work
  • Strong knowledge of residence and CGT issues

  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Previous experience supervising or mentoring staff is beneficial but not essential
