Role Responsibilities- Managing a portfolio of c.500 private clients, ensuring all compliance and advisory needs are met
- Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to HMRC regulations
- Advising on a range of tax planning issues, including residence, CGT, and other personal tax matters
- Providing proactive and tailored tax advice to clients, ensuring the best possible tax outcomes
- Supervising and mentoring one direct report, supporting their professional development
- Managing tax compliance workflows, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently
- Liaising with HMRC, clients, and internal teams, maintaining strong professional relationships
- Keeping up to date with legislation changes and advising clients accordingly

Candidate Requirements- ATT or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Extensive experience in personal tax compliance, with exposure to advisory work
- Strong knowledge of residence and CGT issues
- Ability to manage a large portfolio independently
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring staff is beneficial but not essential
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office
- £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
