Job title: Mathematics Teacher

Job Type: Temporary - full and part time hours to suit

Career Teachers are looking to recruit experienced and passionate Mathematics Teachers to work within a cluster of Secondary Schools in and around the North Birmingham area including Sutton Coldfield, Great Barr, Kingstanding, and Erdington.
We are extremely busy with requests from our schools with the flexibility of working around your commitments with part-time and full-time hours to suit, as well as short-term and long-term assignments.
As a supply teacher you will:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to pupils aged 11 to 16 (key stage 3 and 4)
- Be adaptable to cover pre-planned general cover lessons where required
- Encourage pupils to interact within the class and engage in activities throughout the lesson.
- Provide detailed feedback on pupil's achievement and progress
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the schools policies and procedures
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at key stage 3 and 4
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passionate and dedicated to teaching and learning.
- Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
- Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
- Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
