Position:Teacher of Computer Science Type: Permanent/Full Time Start Date: ASAP (January 2025 or sooner if possible) Salary: MPS/UPS
About the Role:Plantsbrook School is seeking an energetic and committed Teacher of Computer Science who is passionate about working with young people. The successful candidate will join a department currently staffed with experienced specialist teachers. As part of a transition to a wider faculty-based system, there will be enhanced support and collaboration opportunities across Computing and other linked subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Science across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Develop students' digital literacy, IT skills, and computer science knowledge.
- Engage students in coding using Scratch and Python.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the computing curriculum.
- Potential opportunities to teach across a range of courses based on expertise.
