Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for new opportunities in North Birmingham?
Winner Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school based in the Sutton Coldfield area. We are looking for a teaching assistant to full time on a long-term placement. The successful applicant must have previous SEN experience, previous experience in KS2 and hold a minimum Level 2 or level 3 qualification.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions for pupils with SEN requirements
- Assist the main class teacher in lesson preparation
- Tailor learning materials to the requirement of individual learners
- Assist with pupil progress reports
- Liaise with outside agencies when required
- Support the class teacher with pupil assessments
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- A minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Previous SEN experience
- Strong resilience and patience
- Previous experience working with children with SEMH, Autism and sensory impairments
