SF Recruitment has partnered with a dynamic retail business launching operations in the West Midlands. The business places high value on HR, making this role pivotal to its success. Office location will be Birmingham, but you will also be supporting another site in the Dudley area.  This is an excellent opportunity for candidates that are on the upward trejectory in their career as there will be an opportunity for this role to become Head of HR UK in the next 12-18 months.  The business and its culture are really impressive.

The succesful candidate must be CIPD Level 5 qualified as a minumum and be able to commence work early October 2024.Key Responsibilities:- Create, update, and implement company policies in line with current legislation and business needs. -  Oversee all HR functions including, Employee relations, Onboarding new employees, Managing leavers, terminations, and redeployments, Enhancing absence management processes -  Manage the time and attendance system to ensure accurate tracking and compliance. -  Coach and guide managers on various people-related issues, fostering a positive work environment and enhancing managerial effectiveness.

-  Be prepared for occasional travel and overnight stays as required. Qualifications and Experience:- CIPD Qualification: Essential - HR Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a generalist HR role - Retail Experience: Preferred but not essential; must demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Standalone Role Experience: Must have experience working independently in an HR capacity Personal Attributes:- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work autonomously and make decisions confidently - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills - Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement Additional Information:- This role offers the opportunity to influence and shape the HR function within a growing business. - The successful candidate will join a supportive team where HR is highly respected and integral to business operations.
