Our reputable client in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive support to its Family & Private Client team. You will work closely with a Partner, a Senior Associate and two Solicitors, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Dictation & Document Production: Prepare documents, including bundles (indexed, paginated and bookmarked)
  • Diary Management: Organise and maintain up-to-date schedules, arrange meetings and reserve meeting rooms
  • Billing & File Management: Assist with billing, open and close files and ensure all file admin and compliance tasks are completed
  • Client Support: Handle new inquiries, reception duties and telephone inquiries in a professional manner, in line with the firm’s client care standards
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage daily filing, prepare mail and enclosures, photocopy and scan documents and provide meeting support

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in a legal secretary role (ideally within family or private client law)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in digital dictation, document production and diary management
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
