This is an excellent opportunity for a CDM Principal Designer with at least one year of experience to work on diverse projects across multiple sectors. Ideally based between Manchester and Birmingham, the successful candidate will cover Manchester while benefiting from the support of the Midlands team.
The CDM Principal Designer's RoleAs a CDM Principal Designer, you will provide expert advice on health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and engaging with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles. You will work closely with in-house teams, playing a key role in risk management, design reviews, and supporting clients in meeting their statutory obligations.
You will be involved in a variety of projects across multiple sectors, gaining exposure to a broad range of work. The company places a strong emphasis on training and career development, making this an ideal role for someone with aspirations to progress to a Senior CDM Principal Designer in the future.
The CDM Principal DesignerThe successful CDM Principal Designer will have:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience as a CDM Principal Designer or CDM Consultant
- A relevant health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Construction Certificate, IOSH, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and their practical application
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams
- The ability to collaborate with in-house teams and work across multiple sectors
- £40,000 - £50,000 total package
- Two salary reviews per year
