Strong communication, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills.
Ownership for area allocated.
Microsoft Suite (Level 1 minimum).
Basic Lean Manufacturing Knowledge.
Accident investigations and reporting.
NVQ/ILM Team leader qualification.

Key areas of responsibility for the production team leader:

Managing the day-to-day activities of the team.
Motivating the team to achieve organisational goals.
Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets.
Delegating tasks to team members.
Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential.
Ensure process adherence is always maintained.
Contribute to Cell Clean downs once production is completed.
Validation of assembly fixture condition.
Uphold communication with operators.
Housekeeping Audits daily.
Daily Shift reports.
Continuously Check NCP for validation.
Label Control and verification.
NCP input shift data.
Progress Chase Daily Customer requirements against EDI.
Conduct Return to work.
Conduct Disciplinary when required.
Maximize machine efficiency.
