- Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold transactions.
- Advising clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process, from initial enquiry to completion.
- Preparing and reviewing legal documents, such as contracts, transfer deeds, and property forms.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to ensure smooth transaction progress.
- Conducting property searches, reviewing titles, and advising clients on issues arising.
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and relevant regulations.
- Managing own workload efficiently, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards of client care.
- Providing regular updates to clients on progress and handling any queries or concerns.
- Significant experience as a Conveyancer, with a proven track record of managing your own caseload of residential property transactions.
- Excellent knowledge of the conveyancing process, including current legislation and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously while being a team player within the firm.
- Relevant legal qualifications (e.g., Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, CILEX) are preferred.
