Zest Education are looking for a Science Teacher, that can teach across KS3- KS4, in a large secondary school in North Birmingham, close to Sutton. The position will be full time and will start in January 2025, this will continue until February half term.

The school is situated in a popular area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport. The school encourages all their students to achieve both inside and outside of school, the school also support their students through each key stage by creating a safe but enjoyable environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A great passion for the subject of Science and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 would be ideal but isn’t essential)
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
