What You'll Do:
- Provide tailored, person-centered care and support to residents.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
- Foster independence by encouraging participation in community activities, hobbies, and social engagement.
- Support residents in managing challenging behaviours with patience and positivity.
- Promote emotional well-being, building trust and strong relationships.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
What We're Looking For:
- A passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and empathetic approach.
- Flexibility to work a 3 on / 3 off shift pattern, with 8am-8pm day shifts or 8pm-8am night shifts.
- Previous experience in care or support roles is an advantage but not essential - full training provided.
- A commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and choice for every resident.
