We are currently looking for an experienced SEND practitioner to join an OFSTED rated 'GOOD' school in Sutton Coldfield, supporting a student with ADHD.Location: Sutton ColdfieldTime: 8:30am - 3:30pmPay: £85 - £95 per dayResponsibilities• Working 1:1 with a child with ADHD• Supporting the pupil to access the curriculum• Assist in implementing individual education plan• Support student with daily tasks and activities• Provide emotional support and manage behaviour within behaviour management guidelines• Support class teacher to create a positive learning environment• Maintain a patient and empathetic approachRequirements• Right to work in the UK• Previous experience working within a UK educational setting• Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 preferred.• Strong knowledge of SEND within education• A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children• Certification in SEND support is desirable
