Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, purchasing and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring materials are available for projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimise waste and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, suppliers and internal teams to align purchasing with project schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Analyse purchasing data to identify trends, forecast demand and improve stock management processes.

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience(minimum 3 years) in purchasing and inventory management, preferably in the civil engineering or construction sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, stock control processes, and purchasing best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
