Client Details

Our client is a well known business locally within Engineering and are looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.

They are looking to hire a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to oversee the Purchase Ledger Function and ensuring the efficient processing of supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations.

This is a permanent opportunity paying up to £35,000 (DOE) in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

This is a 100% office based role.

Description

Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Purchase Ledger function
  • Overseeing all aspects of the purchase ledger
  • Multi site experience is essential
  • Multi currency experience
  • GRNIs experience
  • Supervise and support the junior team members
  • Provide guidance and training where required
  • Supplier management
  • Ensure timely processing of supplier payment, statement reconciliations and resolving queries
  • Identify and implement best practices
  • Assisting with month end
  • Accruals

Profile

The successful Purchase Ledger Manager:

  • Experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of Purchase Ledger processes, accounting and finance systems
  • High level of accuracy
  • Ability to resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier queries
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
