Our client is a well known business locally within Engineering and are looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.
They are looking to hire a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to oversee the Purchase Ledger Function and ensuring the efficient processing of supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations.
This is a permanent opportunity paying up to £35,000 (DOE) in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
This is a 100% office based role.
Description
Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Purchase Ledger function
- Overseeing all aspects of the purchase ledger
- Multi site experience is essential
- Multi currency experience
- GRNIs experience
- Supervise and support the junior team members
- Provide guidance and training where required
- Supplier management
- Ensure timely processing of supplier payment, statement reconciliations and resolving queries
- Identify and implement best practices
- Assisting with month end
- Accruals
Profile
The successful Purchase Ledger Manager:
- Experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of Purchase Ledger processes, accounting and finance systems
- High level of accuracy
- Ability to resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier queries
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
